While waiting for the shop carpet to dry, I decided to distract myself with a visit to my brothers garage. Wow look what I found-a very old crank-handled cash register, I even found 2 bob in the receipt section, nothing to sneeze at. (apart from the decades old dust encrusting it!)

Aww i love old machines like this. I recently was given my grandmothers old Holiday Remington Typewriter. It's in almost perfect condition because she said she never liked using it.
Wow, I just love the sound old typewriters make, I have a Remington International and it gets used constantly, still going strong!
I would use mine all the time if i could, but i don't want to run out of the ink ribbon! I will have to search online for some new ones.
That is a beauty! I hope you hear it ching ching ching all day long in the very near future.
Kel, YOU'd better have this at the shop! I can't wait to ring up sales on it :) lol, even if you're just using it as a cash drawer, it's too groovy not to have...but only if brother can part with it that is :)
